As cheesy as it sounds, I knew Mozzie was the dog for me from the moment the good Samaritan, who brought her into the shelter, placed her in my arms. When I turned around, my sister saw it in my eyes and said "you love her don't you?"
She's been my best friend for the last three years and I don't know how I would manage life without her. She drives me crazy in the best way and I love coming home to her. Things weren't always easy and she had a lot of learning to do about living in a home when I first adopted her.
There was a time or two where I questioned if I could make it work but I knew I'd made a promise to give her a forever home. We trained and both learned from each other and I'm so thankful I never gave up on her.
